SubCity Dwellers - When The Beat Starts To Pound

The SubCity Dwellers are:

Ian : Vocals & guitar
Kevin : Keys & organs & vocals
Matty : Guitar & vocals
Darryl : Saxophone & vocals
Allison : Trumpet
Rob : Trombone
Darwin : Bass & vocals
Alain : Drums & percussion

The SubCity Dwellers first started playing ska punk in 2002, and has evolved into the fun loving crazy live show that it is today.

The SubCity Dwellers third album "When The Beat Starts To Pound" is filled with punky ska tunes with a heavy 2 Tone and Third Wave sound. Imagine if Rancid had a horn section, was from Winnipeg Alberta, and you did not need to read the liner notes to decipher just what the hell Tim Armstrong was saying when he sings. This is what SubCity Dwellers sounds like. Released on Longshot Records in 2007, this is an album that can heat up any chilly Canadian winter!
