King Apparatus

King Apparatus was a Canadian third wave ska band, active in the early 1990s. Based in Toronto, Ontario, the band's lineup varied over its lifetime, including vocalist Chris Murray, guitarists Sam Tallo, Paul Ruston, J. C. Orr and Paul McCulloch, bassist Mitch Girio, organists Mark LeBourdais and Alex Dmitrovic, conga player Greg Clancy, saxophonist Bruno Hedman, and drummers Brian Christopher, Dave Kennedy and Mike Southern.
The band released two full length albums and two EPs on Raw Energy Records.
Chris Murray has continued to pursue a solo career in music. Mitch Girio is still active in the Canadian ska scene. Mark LeBourdais, the grandson of journalist Isabel LeBourdais, is currently a teacher in Ulukhaktok.

King Apparatus S/T

Originally released in 1991 on Raw Energy Records.

King Apparatus self titled first album can best be described as a skanking fun treat for the ears. You can feel the energy on each track on King Apparatus, and you will find your toes tapping along to the faster paced songs like "Non-Stop Drinking" and "Made For T.V." and your head bobbing along to the more reggae inspired number "King Apparatus".

This is a must have for any fans of the 2 Tone sound. If you love to dance, this album is for you. And as an extra bonus, the Asian Man reissue has 3 extra tracks added on.
